Blessing Baby Gem And Her Family

Baby Gem is doing well one day after open heart surgery. She is swollen from the IV fluids, on a respirator and has several tubes coming out of her including a chest tube and wound drainage tubes. The doctors, nurse practitioners, anesthetists, nurses, and support staff are all keeping a very vigilant eye on her to ensure her vital signs remain stable. It's been an emotional rollercoaster for the entire family and now we wait to see how she responds.
