Michele's Ride to Remember

Join us on Thur., July 27 2023 at 8:00 AM for a memorable experience. This in-person find-raising event is a tribute to five Seaford High School Alumni who lost their lives on September 11, 2001; FDNY Battalion Chief Thomas Haskell, FDNY Timothy Haskell, NYPD John Perry, Rob Sliwak (Cantor-Fitzgerald and Michael Wittenstein (Cantor-Fitzgerald).

All proceeds support the Patriot Award, a monetary scholarship given to five deserving graduating seniors of Seaford High School in honor of the memory of the fallen alumni.

The Patriot Awards recipients are chosen by criteria established by the Seaford High School 9/11 Committee who exhibit attributes of service, character and commitment that were embodied by the five alum who perished on September 11, 2001.

The 4-day ride will start at the famous Montauk Lighthouse, taking us through scenic portions of Long Island into Queens, Bronx and Manhattan. Multiple stops at Fire Districts, Police stations and 9/11 Memorials along the way to remember, honor and thank our first responders.

Whether you're an experienced cyclist or just looking for a fun way to support a great cause, this event is for you! SAG vehicle will provide snacks and drinks, you just need a bike, helmet and passion for doing good!
