Keep the Morrison Family in the UK

HI! We are the Morrison family. Wendy & John, Gareth (19), Fiona(14), Bronwyn(12), and Enya(11) (the pic is from a few years back!)
The UKBA raised fees again! Thanks to a monstrous increase, it is now £1875 for each person to get Indefinite Leave to Remain, the next step in our being able to stay in the UK. So in order to keep the family together after Oct 14, 2016, I need to raise 5 x £1875 for ILR applications! Plus more for mandatory biometric scan.In a normal world, I'd just get a bank loan, but people with less than 6 months left on their work visas are not allowed loans!
I'm working as much as I can to raise the money, but every bit that the world can pitch in would be great. And unless you donate anonymously, this site will track who sends me how much, so I can pay each and every one of you back over the next couple of years.
For 10 years we have been living in Oxford, England. We moved here from America (South Dakota, to be precise!) in 2006 so Wendy could study at the University ofOxford (she's an archaeologist). Since then, we have made a home here, and the girls in particular remember nothing else - this is home. However, due to new immigration rules in the UK, if we want to stay here beyond October 2016, we need to apply for a status called Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). The fees for this used to be around £200 per person, but suddenly less than a year ago, they hiked the fees up to a whooping £1875 per person.
We have tried to scrimp and save this sum, but the cost of living in Oxford is very high and archaeology does not pay a lot. Meeting the needs of 6 people on two very modest incomes just about takes everything we have. So having to come up with what amounts to more that 25% of my gross salary in one go for these fees is proving impossible.
Thankfully though we have found a solution for one of the members of our family, but that leaves 5 more of us, which is why we have made this gofundme. We realise there are a lot of worthy causes out there, and we are honoured that you are even reading this page. Our major concern has always been the welfare of the kids- Britain is their home and to be deported to America would for them entail a major culture shock as they are taken from everything and everyone they know.
It is desperation that drives us to this, and the knowledge that the world is full of kind-hearted people. We thank you so very much for your help. And as stated before, every named donation will be paid back over the next couple of years.
