Fighting Multiple Schlerosis

Dear Friends and Family, Some of you may know by now of my ongoing battle with Multiple Schlerosis. MS is an auto immune disease that attacks the Central Nervous System. I may look fine on the outside, but inside my body is screaming! Until recently, there have only been a hand full of treatment options that have the potential of slowing the progression of this monstrous disease. I recently became aware of a new treatment option that not only can PERMANENTLY halt the devastating effects of MS, but have had the ability to actually reverse the damage already caused by the disease. Few places in the world provide this treatment option and one such facility happens to be located here in the US, in the great city of Chicago. I am excited to announce that after 9 tedious months of trying to get accepted into the program, I have finally been granted acceptance by the famous Dr. Richard Burt and his skilled team. Treatment however is extensive. It consists of the harvesting of your own body's stem cells. Then very strong Chemotherapy drugs are used to kill off the body's immune system (which is what is attacking the nervous system). Harvested stem cells are then reintroduced into the body to produce a new and healthy immune system (kind of a total system reboot). There has been great success with this treatment option! Treatment and recovery can take up to 6 months however. That is the possible time spent unable to work or be out in public at all. Treatment is expensive, even with insurance covering part of the cost. Airfare, room and board and living costs will be necessary for the 8+ weeks spent in Chicago. There is also an extended period of recovery time until my immune system is healthy enough to be able to once again return to work. Donated funds are my only option in being able to make this treatment a reality. Please help me in the battle to permanently stomp this disease and give me back my future!
