Orange High Panther Band DC Trip

Orange High School Marching Band is proud and humbled to be a part of the 2017 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C. This is a once in a lifetime event for our students as we attend only once every four years.
The parade is organized by the American Veterans Center and Music Celebrations International and brings together musical ensembles from every military branch, veterans groups, military and specialty units as well as invited bands from every state in the USA.
In addition to being a part of the parade band members will have a chance to visit sites at our nation’s capital, including the Lincoln Memorial, Korean, Vietnam and World War II memorials.
Our students work very hard at training for the program and volunteering their time to raise money so that we can be at this great event.
However, we cannot make this trip without extra support. We have several band members who will not be able to attend without help from the community. Your tax-deductible donation will help us represent North Carolina at the Memorial Day Parade.
