Fields Family Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Yesterday, Friday, August 3rd my cousin Josh Fields and his fiancee Brittany Sorn traveling with two children Jackston 9 & Jett 4 were involved in a head on collision in Wooster, Ohio. Josh & Jackston both have a long road of recovery ahead. If you can help relieve the financial, medical stress for them please donate.  If you can't donate please keep them in your Prayers.
Josh & Jackston are currently hospitalized 3 hours from home.

They are also in the midst of planning for their wedding which was scheduled for September 15th.

They had just left the campsite where their church friends were staying and they were headed to Brittany's dads.  They had been traveling approximately 15 minutes.  They were traveling down a straight stretch when an oncoming car drifted sideways at a speed of roughly 60-70 mph.  Josh swerved to get out of his way and the car hit them head on.

UPDATE from Brittany:

To say we have a LONG road to recovery is an understatement. But our faith will carry us through. We were hit in a head on collision in Ohio today.
Josh has 7 broken ribs, a fractured breast bone, a bleeding spleen, broken femur, and dislocated bone in his big toe.
Jackston has hairline fracture in his pelvis and lacerated eye.
They were both life flighted to the Akron hospitals (yes, all of us have been spread a in theee different directions since the accident  )
Absolutely no idea how, other than the Grace of God, Jett and I were released with scratch’s and soreness.

No matter what, we will all wake up and still have each other in the morning. Please keep us in your prayers, especially josh, anyone that knows him knows this will be so hard on him keeping him down.

UPDATE from Brittany

8/4/18 11:15 am-Josh is now out of surgery and they were able to put the rod in place of his Femur.  Unfortunately, it was too shattered to put the bones back in place.  They were able to readjust his foot.  There isn't anything they can do about the broken ribs, other than time.  He is in recovery now and we are waiting to hear about his spleen and lungs from the trauma team.

Jackston is in stable condition but still quite disoriented.  They are checking him for a concussion and getting ready to start moving him around so his pelvis doesn't get stiff.
