Kicking Cancer's Ass For 10 Years!

Today I start my mission to raise money for the most inspirational, admirable, loving, strongest, positive woman who I so luckily get to call my mom. Many people know her as Leisa but to her extremely loved grandchildren she is Lulu; their adult playmate!! To those who know me and our family and to those who are reading this; please know this woman deserves the world! 2016 marks 10 long years that she has been battling ( and doing a hell of a job) ovarian cancer. She has undergone multiple surgeries and countless rounds of chemo to try and get rid of the tumors. Last year she was told surgery is not an option any more because of the location of the main tumor which is on the vena cava ( the main artery near her heart). Instead of giving up she asked what her other options were; her options were 2 types of chemo combined or try a trial chemo therapy. She opted for the trial which unfortunately left her with a burnt out thyroid and many complications. After taking some time to heal she started on another chemo and sadly that did not do anything either. Leisa is now on 2 types of chemo once a week and will be on chemo whether these two or something different for the rest of her life. My mom is someone who would never ask for help and would give her last penny to someone else if she thought it would help. I am trying to raise enough to pay off her car which would help her tremendously because without a car payment maybe she could concentrate on healing and trying to enjoy life! I'm also hoping to raise enough to get her a down payment on a place to call home; as of right now she is staying in her fifth wheel camper on my property. My mom had to resign from her position as an CRMA due to a large hernia and because of treatments. We travel almost two hours for treatment every week, sometimes more for scans and tests. I am praying and pleading for help for our beloved mom, lulu, sister, daughter and friend to so many! Thank you in advance to all of you for your generous donations!
