Lasmanis & Knutson WVSO Pit Fire

During the very early morning of April 24, 2016 a fire occured in the pits of Wenatchee Valley Super Oval in Wenatchee, WA  before the track had opened fo day 2 of the spring sizzler event. The fire destroyed the #5 Late Model of Larry Lasmanis of Olympia, WA along his pit cart with all of its contents that help make a Late Model what it is, tires fuel cans, tools scales and other items. The fire also destroyed the #51 Glenn Knutsons of Quincy, WA Pit Cart, Tire Cart along with all the contents for both his Late Model and Super Late Model.  The local fire department was called to the facility by a neighboring house who saw the fire. They were able to stop it before it spread to other cars and pit areas, Both of these teams are hard working teams that just love to race and be at the race traack. Now with each teams experiencing catostrphic losses, their season might be over.  I'm reaching out to the Racing Community and Family to help these racers, our brothers and sisters on track and in the pits to get them back on the track. The money will be seperated between the two teams.
