Joel's Second Year Tuition

My name is Joel Bidderman, and I am a husband, father, non-profit worker, worship pastor, and a spiritual director in-training. Working in both the non-profit sector and the local church, I am passionate about the organic connection between intimacy with the Lord and caring for the poor, the outcast, the hungry, the forgotten ones, and the stranger.

I am in my second year of Sustainable Faith's School of Spiritual Direction . The School of Spiritual Direction's second year program  is for those who envision spiritual direction as a more central feature of their work. It gives participants the opportunity to go through the Ignatian Exercises together, gain significant (supervised) experience in offering direction, delve more fully into the theological underpinnings of spiritual direction and address special topics. At the end of Year 2, students are certified and fulfill the requirements for inclusion in Sustainable Faith's list of directors as well as in other umbrella organizations.

It's a blessing to be a part of this experience. As someone in full-time ministry (half in the local church context and half in the non-profit sector), the funds for continuing education like this is a step of faith. Would you consider contributing?
