Tiffany Larson: Fulbright 2 Finland

The faculty and staff of El Dorado High School (and the surrounding community)  wishes to raise money to send Ms. Tiffany Larson, a Fulbright Award Recipient, to Finland to pursue in-depth research about how to better serve our district's students, particularly those who struggle academically. Tiffany will pursue her research from January to June; in this time, she will study, compile data and evidence, and attend Finnish classes. The knowledge she brings back with her will inspire creative and positive change for students in El Dorado County.

Because Tiffany will not be paid her salary while she is gone, the money raised will help her pay for her living expenses while she maintains an intense focus on her research. Our goal is to raise the funds by the end of December so that we can bless Tiffany before she departs for Finland.

We are enormously proud of Tiffany; she serves as an inspiration to both her students and her colleagues. Additionally, she exemplifies excellence in this profession as evidenced by her achievement. We fully believe that coming together as  a community to champion one of our own will both unite and engage our faculty,  our students, our parents, and our larger community.

Tiffany's dream of being a Fulbright Award Recipient has come true, and it is a prestigious honor to have earned this recognition. However, it is an honor which has required great sacrifice, both personal and financial, on her part, and we would like to help ease her financial sacrifice. Because we love her, support her, and believe in her, we are thoroughly grateful for whatever assistance we can garner.
