Adoption Laywer Court Cost
Our story- we were blessed to adopt our oldest son Jonah through the foster system. Summer of 2015 we received a phone from the adoption agency saying they have a beautiful baby boy that was just born and is up for adoption. Birth mom decided it would be safer to give him up ... Bio dad came forth but did not do paterinity test ... After seven months went by the adoption agency paid for the test and still bio dad took another five weeks to do his part. We went to court last week and even after the judge hearing all the criminal activities and unsafe reports of bio dad the judge ruled in bio dad favor. The adoption attorney has filled for a reconsideration since there were a lot of errors in the rulling ... In order for my husband and myself to testify or do any other legal actions to keep our son once again whom we have had for 14 months since birth we need to hire a attorney. We have been given several quotes and researched several firms this is a time sensitive case and we could loose our son ... Our hearts are breaking and can't believe that this is happening.
