Help Mustang Music Festival Survive

Hi! We're John & Suzy Phillips from Virginia Beach, VA and we're setting up this campaign to raise some much needed money for the Mustang Music Festival in Corolla, NC. The sixth annual event was scheduled for Oct 7-8, but was cancelled due to the approach of Hurricane Matthew. This situation leaves our friend Michael Dianna, the festival producer, holding the bag on the bulk of the expenditures. It's a wonderful festival, and we'll do everything we can to help ensure it returns next year. We'd really appreciate your help.

The festival proceeds support both the Corolla Wild Horse Fund , whose mission is to protect and preserve the last remaining herd of Spanish Mustangs on the northern Outer Banks of North Carolina, and the Mustang Outreach Program , which works to strengthen cultural arts programs in local publics schools. Each of these two causes will receive 10% of the dontains raised, with the remaining 80% going towards retiring debt from this year's cancelled festival.

This beautiful little music festival, and producer Michael Dianna, has a special place in our hearts. It was the first festival to grant me media credentials as a photojournalist. It supports local causes and brings business to the community during a seasonal low period. And Michael Dianna is one of the most caring, giving individuals we've ever known.
