Hurricane relief for Carol Fliesen

My name is Dawn Rickert. My mother and father were just hit by Hurricane Matthew in Virginia Beach, VA. Unfortunately I am in Oregon and unable to get them direct help.
My mom just had a heart attack a few weeks ago and now their house is in jeopardy by all this flooding. They already had 6 inches of water inside her house. She is not in a flood area and has no flood insurance to cover this. She needs help desperately. We are not sure yet how much the damages will be. All funds raised will be applied directly towards the damages. Anything would be appreciated. Thank you!

These funds will be used to pay for flooring, walls, counters, and damaged furniture/appliances if needed. Our main concern is to rebuild the house.

The house's walls have been cut 4 feet tall. They will need to have a contractor redo all the walls and flooring. All the carpet and wood floors are a loss and have been removed. They will need to put in new flooring. All their dressers and furniture were declared a loss. My brother lost his mattress in this disaster too. The goal is to put them as close to back to normal as possible. The current damages will more likely cost $40,000 but we want to put a dent in that. All help is appreciated.
