52 half marathons in 52 weeks

Hi every1 if you don't already know I'm gonna run 52 half marathons within 52 weeks with the aim to raise £3.000 to help raise money for macmillan cancer support, cancer research and also for the RVI child support unit in Newcastle who do a magnificent job, the money will be split 3 ways for these charities, the last year I've lost my two grandads, my nana and most recently lost my dad through cancer, before I lost family members through the disease I was quite ignorant towards it like most people are tbh, although I always dropped the odd pound in charity boxes when I seen them, it's genrally a case of "its never effected my life" and you sort of turn a blind eye towards it! I think ive been lucky to go all this time without loosing some one or being affected by the effects of cancer tbh because cancer research statistics says if your born after 1960.... 1 in 2 people will be affected in there lifetime! Cancer doesn't care if your young/old/black/white/male/female it gets any1 it can, and that's the reason we've got to fight against it and find a cure because it could be your child next or your parent or even your self so please help fight against it and with your help we'll hopefully find a cure so less lives are lost and for the RVI unit who do an amazing job every day helping save little lives from all across the northeast I'd like to take a little time to stress how good there are at making children feel safe and get them back on there feet again so please if possible, help to join the fight against cancer and help towards gaining new equipment for the children's department and new toys and games for the children to use, any donations are greatly appreciated from myself and more so these charities, thank you very much for taking the time to read and once again a massive massive thank you for helping me achieve my goal of £3000
