Every day of our lives, deep down, every one of us dreads the next text from our mother or father or other family-member. A lot of us live in a world where health-care is unaffordable, or simply out of our reach due to the sheer scope of illnesses. The measure of our society is not by the amount of money we accumulate, but instead our capacity for compassion. We ask for just a drop of that compassion today, for the sake of Cruz and Deborah.
Today, tomorrow, the next day, we could all face a challenge that turns the skies dark. We ask for your hearts, your voices, and your compassion today.
