Walk a Mile in Their Soles

The purpose of the project "Walk a Mile in Their Shoes," is not only to bring awareness to the current immigration issues in our country but also at a global scale. There will be 433 volunteers wearing these shoes, walk a mile passing by the White House.
This project is based on my photo series "Traveling Soles," which shows stories of shoes that belonged to immigrants and also the places where some of them have traveled through.
There are many expenses such as shipping costs of 22 heavy duty large boxes, the boxes themselves, or possibly renting a van, gas, insurance, meals, 433 printed t-shirts, socks, pins, Lysol, flights, etc.
