Helping Wounded LEO Tammi

Tammi is a police officer with the Orlando Police Department. She suffered a spinal cord injury while working. She has been out of work for over 6 months and has attended numerous therapy sessions to learn to walk again. During her recovery she began experiencing severe headaches, memory problems, cognitive defects and speech issues. Recently, she started suffering seizures and facial drooping. She has been admitted back to the hospital where she learned that the doctors failed to diagnose a traumatic brain injury when she was initially injured. She has at least 6 more months out of work while she undergoes treatment for her seizures and therapy to help improve the issues she has due to her traumatic brain injury. Although Tammi receives worker's compensation, it is only a portion of the money she used to make while working full time and off duty assignments. Her husband has also had to take time off of work to help care for Tammi. Any support you could provide to Tammi and her family would be greatly appreciated!
