Hocktoberfest Ellie's Bus

University of Maryland Club Field Hockey is hosting our annual Hocktoberfest Field Hockey Tournament October 29th and 30th. This year we are hosting it to raise money for Ellie's Bus, an organization supporting suicide prevention. It is based out of Severna Park, Maryland and was founded last year after the death of Ellie, a high school junior. It's run by her parents and other volunteers with the mission to spread awareness of suicide prevention and other mental health issues across Maryland. They drive a big orange bus- Ellie's Bus- to schools, youth groups, religious institutions and other groups to help spread the message to teenagers. The organization is 100% volunteers and all of the money donated will go to support mental health awareness and suicide prevention to teens in Maryland. Any and all donations are welcome to support this causes and to raise as much money as we can before the tournament!
