Officer Kevin Kirk

Today 09.30.16 was the first time that I have been able to get out of the house since the incident other than 2 doctor's appointments. My first stop was the police department. It was so wonderful to see my coworkers finally (I haven't seen them since the shooting) and was such a great visit. While there the chief's administrative assistant Debbie Goodwin Graham came in to Lt. Kevin Koss's office and gave me a big hug then handed me a large envelope which consisted of Get Well Cards and monetary gifts and I learned that the couple that put this together was Fred and Donna Jones...Thank you both so much and Thank you to everyone for the cards and contributions. Several other stops followed, ie. city hall haircut lunch etc. and everyone that I came in contact with some how or another knew me and knew what had happened and either shook my hand or hugged my neck and thanked me. Today, I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support and appreciation...I love each and everyone of you and I want assure the wonderful citizens of Childersburg that I will be back as soon as possible!

my name is James Parker as a resident  of Childersburg Al.  and a supporter of tha CPD I feel a responsibility to help Officer Kirk.  The funds will be given to Officer Kirk for living expenses while he is unable to work. When I close the account I will have the funds deposited to my account and then take the cash to the Police Department.
