Mick Snell memorial family fund

Hi everyone my names Dave Snell, I'm a very proud Queenstown boy born and bred on the West Coast of Tassie. I grew up in a loving community that was surrounded by the harshest climates Australia has to offer. I believe this combination of things make us very special, honest and caring community minded people regardless of where we've ended up in this beautiful country of ours.
Tragically late last November my brother was sadly taken from us. Michael was very well known throughout the west coast as a loving larrikin, who was tough but would give you the shirt off his back. 
The reason I've started this Go Fund Me is because I've personally been struggling with the loss of my brother, the guy who had my '6' my whole life. 
Now those that know me will know that apart from inheriting our father Jack's larrikin sense of humour I like to give a good return for your dollar that you'll be donating towards Micks wonderful wife Allison Snell and his three beautiful girls commonly known as 'the Fockers' Paige, Morgan & Adele. 
So if you still have a dry eye, my challenge I will be completing will be trekking the Overlander track from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clare. 
I'm currently writing this introduction from a PTSD psychiatric ward in Melbourne where I'm receiving treatment, as a former soldier I relied upon my Army brothers to pick me up when I fell, that's the same kind of mongrel most of you who are reading this will surely feel inside you and understand that as West Coasters we look after our own and never let each other down. I will be relying on My fellow West Coasters, my Army brothers and my training to help carry me through this journey.

This trek will be attempted On the 01 June 2017 just to make things even trickier as the weather will be quite unpredictable. 
The reason I'm starting the page now is to gather a following during my build up training and allow people to say "hey, instead of buying a coffee today I'm going to donate $4.50 to Micks family" and hopefully a few people will continue doing that up until the event.
For total transparency 100% of the money donated will go to Micks family. I will be absorbing the cost of all equipment and travel. 
So my last words for tonight are, if you were doing things hard or needed a hand would Mick give you $20 or an hour of his time ??
