Creamation services for mom killed

My mother Kay Moss Freese was killed by a hit and run driver who had been drinking where she passed away in Albuquerque New Mexico yesterday.   I am Casey Freese her son.   I just started a job when I received the news and wanted to get her ashes and bring them back to Colorado that is her home.  After traveling all the way to Albuquerque, I found that I could not even see my mom without her being sent to a funeral first and needed $1,000.00 to $2000.00 to do that.  I do not even have close to the funds to get my mom back to Colorado.  I am grieving her loss with such a tragic end to her life and would like to say my final good bye to her and have her cremated and take her back to her original home in Colorado.  It looks like I may have to go home without her ashes and saying goodbye to her if I do not get any financial help.   I really do not want to ask for help but the TV station suggested maybe someone could help.  I appreciate you all who would consider helping me so I can say my last good byes to my mom.
