Flood Devastation

My name is Rachel Carlino, and I live in Baton Rouge. Along with thousands of others, I was unfortunately affected by the flooding disaster in Louisiana. The complete downstairs of my townhome was flooded, including my washer/dryer, living room, and dining room/kitchen. I was not able to salvage anything from downstairs, as the flood level reached 46 inches. Both of my parents' homes flooded with 5 feet of water. Both of their vehicles were also flooded, leaving me with only one vehicle to transport them back and forth as needed. To make things even more complicated, my boyfriend's car flooded as well, so there are 3 others currently sharing my car. I have been paying for all expenses for myself and my family, such as food, gas, gutting, cleaning supplies, new clothes, etc.  I have been told by my landlord that tenants need to immediately remove all remaining personal items, as the property has been deemed unlivable, unsecure, and a contruction site.  

Any donations would be greatly appreciated! These expenses have been quite unexpected, and there is a lot to be replaced/repaired. God Bless!
