Hi, I am Grace Son. I am a graduate school student currently at NYACK AGSC at the downtown Manhattan campus. I am trying to raise money and win the $10,000 GoFundMe scholarship to pay for tuition, textbooks, and commuting fees.
This is difficult for me because this is coming straight from my heart and I am pouring myself out here. This is beyond the scope of importance to me and I desperately need help!
I have come so far to be at where I am at today. I am on disability. I was dropped on the head at only one years old, developed Type 1 Diabetes at two years old, had a stroke on April 30, 1997, practically lived in hospitals growing up. Dr. N (I will not reveal his full surname) told me he did not expect me to live past 29. I am 31 years of age. I really need this money to pay for my schooling, because I am desperately poor, and in great need of assistance. My pride is at the line, asking for handouts because I was raised not to ask for such. I will be incredibly thankful to God and to everyone of you! To all who read this, to the generous, and for all mankind. Life is so precious!
