Cat shot by BB gun needs surgery

My cat Jade was shot by a BB Gun pellet today outside of my townhouse complex.
When I noticed my cat limping I took her to the vet and was explained that the wounds were caused by a BB pellet, which had shattered her front leg so badly that it needs to be amputated. Jade is only a year and a half and is otherwise in good health. However the surgery and medications will cost upwards of $3000.
Jade is an important part of my family and I hope to raise enough money to ensure she can get the help she needs.
