Jamie's Denture/Dental Fund

My name is Jamie Priest.  I am trying to raise money to get some major dental work done.  I have what is called "Periodontal Disease."  It is a disease that attacks the bone (jaw bone) and soft tissue (gums).  In which the roots of the teeth needs to stay in place, and stay strong and healthy.  Once the deterioration of the jaw bone and gums begins, the teeth become loose, roots become exposed and it is very painful and hard to eat just about anything.  It is even so painful at times, it hurts to speak.  Periodontal Disease is not to be taken lightly.  Its a very serious gum infection that destroys the bone and soft tissue that supports the teeth.  It not only leads to tooth loss, but it also significantly increases the risk of heart attack and stroke; as well as other serious health issues.  I already have heart disease and 2 stints.  I take medication every morning and evening for the heart disease and stints that I got a little over a year ago.

This is the point that I am at now.  Dealing with several loose and exposed teeth in the back as well as my front bottom teeth.  The pain is getting worse as the teeth are getting even looser.  At this point the only thing that can be done is to have all my remaining teeth removed and get a full set of dentures, which is quite costly.  I am in need of this procedure to be done as soon as possible, due to the medical reasons already mentioned and the fact that I am in pain daily and am scared of my teeth falling out and having to be without them.  As we all know too well, a persons smile is the first thing most people notice about you.  If you have no teeth, you have no self-esteem.

I am asking for help only because I don't have the money to get this done on my own, nor do I have any insurance to cover this procedure.  It would mean a lot to me for everyone to prayerfully consider helping me to raise the money to get this much needed procedure done and to get my dentures before this becomes a major, hospitalizing medical issue.  Getting this dental work done with the full set of dentures will in so many ways improve my overall health, as well as lower my risk of a heart attack or stroke.  It would be extremely great to be able to eat without pain, regain health and self-esteem.  I will be very grateful, there are no amount of words that I could describe how thankful I would be.
