Heathlands Animal Sanctuary is run solely by volunteers dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of unwanted domestic pets. Every year they find secure, loving homes for 300-400 unwanted animals, most of whom would probably have been destroyed in council pounds Shen their 7 days are up. The charity requires funding for every animal they rehome.
