UPDATE: Go Fund Me has asked me to update the description of the campaign in the interests of transparency. I'm Derek Ford, and I'm President of Bishop Falls Minor Hockey. My fiance is also related to the Greene family. I launched this because we felt that since Scottie, Kerry Lynn, Duane and Joey are such vital parts of our hometown and our hockey family we should do something to help him in this time of need. The plan for the money is to really just turn it over to the Greene family. I am hoping this will help offset the cost of travel and accomodations, food and other expenses Kerry Lynn and Duane are going through. With luck this will help them after Scottie gets out of the hospital and incurs rehab and therapy expenses.
