OC Soccer Fighting Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Last year, the Olivet Men's Soccer Team, marked the 1st Annual Olivet Cancer Day in honor of 2 team mom's battling this disease. Our friend, Donna Petty (mom of Greg, currently a senior on the team) fought through Stage 3C Lobular Invasive Breast Cancer. I'm ecstatic to say she recently was tested Cancer Free!! She is one courageous woman!!

Last year during the 1st Cancer Day the team was successful in raising $4,000, split between 2 charities...The Breast Cancer Foundation and The Pink Fund. (The Pink Fund helps women who are undergoing treatment and are having trouble paying their monthly bills)

This year, the 2nd Annual Olivet Cancer Day will be held on Saturday, October 8 (Olivet vs Kalamazoo) at Olivet College.  In support of this cause my son Vince has been growing his hair, over the last year, in hopes of reaching the '10 inches' required to donate to create a wig for a cancer patient and raise additional funds.  Now I must admit, I'm not a fan of long hair on him, but have remained supportive given the great cause!!

In support of his commitment, we are asking for your donation through this Go Fund Me account.
We thank you in advance for anything you can give and for those of you that are in the area, we look forward to seeing you at the game!
