Expresstival for Anti-Poverty Week

Donation protected
Expresstival is the annual highlight of Anti-Poverty Week in WA. The purpose of this event is to unite Western Australia's diverse community in conversations about poverty through creative expression.

There are over 2.5 million Australians that live below the poverty line and approximately 10,000 homeless people in Perth. We believe that if we are to end poverty in this world we must start by removing the stigmas and beliefs that isolate those experiencing poverty in our community.

Our team of volunteers works actively in partnership with various organisations and local groups to connect our greater community with each other and vital support services.

The event will be held on the 22nd of October between 11am and 4pm in Forrest Place in Perth CBD. Expresstival will feature over nearly 200 performers and artists and we predict that over 3500 people will attend.

So far we have raised $6600 to run this years event but require at least another $5000 to cover our costs.

We are asking for your help to raise the remaining funds so we can continue this work in our community. We are deeply grateful and in great appreciation for your contribution.
