Unfortunately, we can’t contact each since it would cost us more than we would receive and so we have come to Go Fund Me to seek the generosity of the American citizen who is so fed up with the system, the candidates and citizens inability to feel meaningful and ask you for your assistance to fight the ridiculous corruption of our political process.
Someone has to do it and we pledge our best efforts to you, our countrymen to do so.
This picture shows a rally for a major political party event that is very reminiscent of the 2015-16 events held by Bernie Sanders which were a majority of democratic voters but also had a very large segment of Independent and No Party Affiliation voters. While Bernie Sanders made a valiant effort to gain the candidacy for president, his supporters after the convention were too many who just aimlessly went home and voiced opinions as to not knowing who to vote for, not voting at all or doing what would obviously be a wasted vote for the remaining two minor party candidates who are on the ballot. Please, don’t do it.
The reality and the fact is for the Presidential election the choice is Clinton or Trump, period. So it is incumbent on all voters to weigh those two options very carefully and then cast your vote to count. While the Independent Party has endorsed a number of candidates in Florida, Independent, Libertarian, Democrat and Republican, and made a recommendation in the presidential race, this GoFundMe site is not about them. It is about you.
As the famous song from the show Cabaret goes, “MONEY, MONEY, MONEY makes the world go round.” And with the US Supreme Court’s decision in the case of “Citizens United,” they have opened the vaults of the powerful, the elite, the influential and corporate America to buy the governmental process and elected officials that they want ‘serving them.” We don’t need to go into all the details of the corruption and disasters that this has caused. Hopefully, most Americans are fully aware of the scenario and those of you reading this page are people who reflect the best of what Americans are all about and who want to make a difference in the lives for yourselves and of your fellow man/woman.
Our Independent Party has been chartered in Florida for many years but have always been behind the eight ball due to just one negative element, the lack of finances to accomplish what we organized to do, especially in opposition to the hundreds of thousands, or millions or, in the case of this years elections, BILLIONS of dollars being spent on political campaigns. That is obscene!
Think about what just minor portions of those Billions could do to improve the physical needs of the country and how many hundreds of thousands of people could be assisted in their personal needs to provide just a normal life for themselves or their families. That’s why the Independent Party of Florida was organized.
We seek out real citizen representatives to endorse and support for election and who will serve the interests of the Real Working Lower Income and Middle Income American populace, not the controlling one percent and their big bucks or the smack down power of corporate America who are permitted to apply an “our products or no products,” “our prices or higher prices,” “our way or the highway” mode of operation made possible by the self-serving elected officials who are recipients of the huge campaign contributions of those same people and corporations. Crooks are crooks. Thievery is thievery. Bribery is bribery. Hello out there, anyone listening?
Our party in past years through out of pocket contributions by just a few members and leaders have gone on the stump for minor party or no party candidates and, we have had a few small victories. Our state chairman has on no less than four occasions over the years paid out of his own pocket thousands of dollars on both radio programs on small local stations and television programs on cable TV to air real, hard hitting, hardball debates with candidates and to inform the public of what was really going on in politics, without the spin and corrupting editing of those programs by the major parties who control those messages and those media.
Our programs worked but unfortunately the money ran out and the activities had to cease and the success and organizing floundered. That was back before social media so successfully moved into the picture and sites such as Go Fund Me appeared. Our plan now is to try again, for the millions of the disenfranchised and disenchanted citizens who so desperately need and want choices and candidate options that will give them a meaningful voice and make a difference.

The motto of our party is the very essence of what those great men in the 1770’s and 1780’s did, and what they meant in their outstanding efforts when composing our founding documents, and that was to provide for a government of Checks and Balances.
We have lost that wonderful and valued treasure in our governments, national, state and even local.
And so the Independent Party will find, educate and put into position elected officials starting at local levels such as Mayors and Council Members, school boards, state Senate and House members and even congressional candidates, all with a goal of having as strong a voice in the 2018 and then the 2020 Presidential and other national political races. Our voice will be as strong as the current duopoly of the two major parties, who in reality act as one to ensure the structure and continuation of their unimpeded re-election and powers.
Change can and will come from the bottom up and that is the strategy of the Independent Party.

What the Go Fund Me and other funding results will go to:
Radio: A budget item will be set to start up our radio program and we will once again go on the air in a major urban hub which is the current 12th largest media market in the U.S.A. Our program “Independent Voice” will provide listeners with the unvarnished truth and facts about all their governments; national, state and local. Current elected officials will be invited as guests and open lines will be interactive for citizen participation. At election times, the program will hold debates between the candidates with the same slogan that the previous programs set and carried forth and that was “no holds barred.” The program will air in that major hub and be available on the internet through streaming audio and video as well as a Podcast and we will invite listeners from anywhere to join in and participate.
Organization: A budget item will be set for traveling to all the major urban areas of the state with a specific plan to utilize all local broadcast and print media to gain publicity and then to hold organizing rally’s to set up chapters within those areas and recruit local officers and members. Those chapters will receive support and education through training programs for how to succeed in their endeavors both as a viable and respected voice in local politics and how to enlist and vet future candidates for any elected position.
Changes to “The System.”
1) We have recently had a disappointing result when we attempted to endorse an Independent Party candidate to get on the ballot in Florida. Through wrongful interpretation of biased legislation by the ruling party and Governor, our candidate was not permitted on the ballot preventing over 3 million Floridians from the right to vote for an Independent Party candidate. This may have been a significant violation of Federal Election Law and we are reviewing what occurred and may institute a law suit against the state for that violation.
2) A top priority of our party will be to ally with minor parties throughout the country (we have done so with five so far) in starting the movement to overturn the Supreme Court decision in the Citizens United case which is the primary cause of the corruption of our current political system.
3) The Platform of the party will include additional priorities to make the substantive changes to the election methodologies and processes in order to give back to you the electorate, the ownership for what is so succinctly stated and provided for by those sacred words that begins the Preamble to our Constitution; “WE THE PEOPLE of the United States,” and which is further promised and emphasized by Honest Abe who said … “and that government, of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth.”
