In conjunction with the long anticipated release of the ‘Alalā Hawaii’s native crow, back into the wild. Volcano Art Center is partnering with San Diego Zoo Global and the Keahou Bird Conservation to display a multi media exhibition of the ‘Alalā. The exhibition will support the release with will begin in November 2016.
I have been working with this bird for almost ten years. Artist Elizabeth Miller has honored my work by creating a piece inspired by my close relationship with the Hawaiian Ravens. I would like to purchase this amazing art piece to hang in my home, while the proceeds benefit the restoration and release of this phenomenal bird. Any donation amount would be welcome.
