Summer the Boston needs Surgery

Help Summer, a Rescued Boston Terrier walk again without pain (Surgery)
Our sweet Summer, a Boston Terrier who made her way to rescue out of change in family circumstances is in need of extensive knee surgery. She has a grade 3 Luxating Patella - one step away from being a permanently dislocated which is a grade 4. (her hind right kneecap will not stay in place and pops out during movement) which has also worn away the groove in which it lies creating an arthritic pain storm and inability to be the active little Boston Terrier she is meant to be.
Without surgery, her arthritis will continue to advance, and her patella grade with progress to the highest level of 4, and she may never walk or play comfortably again.
Summer is a 5 year old, adorable, kissable, and LOVES cuddles. She is an incredible, funny little girl and deserves the most amazing life.
Cottage Paws Rescue is 100% VOLUNTEER organization committed to compassionately helping homeless or unwanted animals in need and matching them with their perfect forever home. We cover basic vetting for all animals, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, health check and worm/flea treatments. A surgery like Summer’s is out of our financial ability since we rely on fundraising and donations to do the work that we do for these sweet souls.
We have already paid over $258 for just assessments for Summer and are asking for help with her surgery costs.
If you can contribute in any way, any amount, Summer would be forever grateful, as the sooner we can have her fixed up, the sooner she can be without pain and we can find her a loving forever home.
