Maria's Cancer Fund

Welcome to the fundraising page for Maria Elena (Nena) Chaidez. This campaign has been created to support her at this time of need, by her husband and children.

In 2011, Maria was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer, and was in remission for 5 years. Our mother now has recently been diagnosed with a re-occurrence of Stage 4 Breast Cancer that has metastasized to the liver, abdomen, and bone. Her prognosis is very poor, as it is in a very aggressive state.

This fundraiser has been organized to help remove some of the financial burden that has and will continue to accumulate, during this difficult time. Our family is in immediate need to raise funds to provide the treatment necessary that is available to her out of state. Our family's main focus is her healing and well being. It is imperative that her treatment be given immediately to help give her a fighting chance.

Maria Elena has a positive outlook on life and still has so much life and love to give. She is a mother of four, grandmother to six grandchildren, and a wife to a loving husband that all still need her very much. With great faith, our family is asking for prayers and donations to meet our goal in this difficult time.
