ATAHAN'S LIFE

ATAHAN YIGIT.....A 26 YEAR "YOUNG" YOUNG MAN..HIS MOTHERS SUPPORT....
THE BREADWINNER OF THEIR HOUSE..LIVING IN FLORIDA ,USA FOR 7 YEARS THEY HAVE BEEN THRU GOOD AND BAD TOGETHER..THEIR MODEST LIFE IS SHATTERED WITH THE NEWS OF ATAHAN'S BONE CANCER WHICH HAS METASTASIZED TO HIS LUNGS..DOCTORS DIAGNOSIS IS THAT HE HAS 2 OR 3 MONTHS TO LIVE...IF HE CAN BEAT THIS ODD HIS EACH TREATMENT OF CHEMOTERAPHY IS 15000 DOLLARS..HIS MOTHER IS NOT GIVING UP..AND SO DO WE..THEIR FRIENDS ..



My name is Demet Demirkaya ..I am a Turkish American living in NY for the last 25 years ..I ve been an active volunteer for more than 10 years and would like to consider myself actively involved in the Turkish community both in Ny and Florida.

Sengul Kahn is a friend of mine who I ve seen gone thru their bad ordeal ,their pain thru each step they had taken ..
Her son ,Atahan Yigit,is diagnosed with bone cancer which has metastized to his lungs..
He needs immediate care and chemotherapy which will cost a lot.His extensive care could not be paid with any source of government organizations because the famil
y has no insurance and dont have the financial means to be able to pay for the necessary treatment..
The campaign I ve started for almost 2 weeks now hopefully gather the money that they do so urgently need..I ve directed the gofundme account to Sengul Kahn's daughterinlaw so they can withdraw it as they need to..Since I dont like to be involved in the financial part of this ,my job here is to gather the money with my experience in volunteer field ..the rest is in their hands..

With that said Ive transfered the account to the family almost a week ago and from that point on,Sengul Kahn is responsible for the activity and the withdrawal of this account.
The funds will be used for the care and the chemotherapy of Atahan Yigit during and after his stay in hospitals..
