Helping the Harper's

Hey everyone! First off, thanks so much for even the consideration, we've had quite the rough past few weeks, and today is the straw that broke the camel's back.

As some of you may know, last month we took a trip to Colorado to visit family and celebrate my friend getting married. On the drive over, our vehicle broke down in Ohden, UT and the damage was too sever to fix, I had to use $489 to rent a vehicle for a week. After that week was up, I had to find someone in Colorado who would sell me a vehicle, which was nearly impossible due to living in Washington. I though we had finally caught our break when enterprise approved us for a car, and David was able to join me on our vacation. He flew out Friday night, and we signed all the paperwork on Saturday.

He took a week off work so he could come visit family and friends; and we were under the impression everything was approved vacation time. Or so he was told by his former manager before she quit the company. I suppose it was out of spite, I guess we'll never know, but our bank account sits at -$490 after rent and I can't afford groceries among several other bills that come with the beginning of the month.

I feel defeated, but I know half the battle here is how we react th this situation, and that's why I'm asking for help. I feel shame for being in this predicament, but we can't control every aspect of our lives, so I'm trying to find comfort in this crappy situation, it's not our fault.
