The Waterfront Action Group was established to Save our Seafront ( Visit www.newrybeachholyhead.co.uk) In 2014 we applied for the area to be registered as a Town and Village green. If successful it means the propsed Waterfront development cannot go ahead.
In May 2016 it was announced that our application merits a Non-Statutory Public Inquiry. The inquiry will assist the registration authority ( The isle of Anglesey County Council)to determine whether the Newry area can legally be registered as a Town & Village green. To optimise our chance of sucess we need to engage the services of a specialist barrister present our case at the inquiry. This is where we need your help.
