Dear compatriots,
We are Zakarian family from Artsakh, and we are kindly asking for your help!
My name is Norayr. I am a war veteran, I have participated in guerrilla fights at Aghdam during the defense of Artsakh, I was wounded, I am disabled (Disability Level: 2) for term of life. I am appealing to you with a great hope to ask support for my family. We are from Artsakh, and we have a big family, including 5 minor kids.
We had a great misfortunate in 2012, as I was found to have a multidrug-resistant form of tuberculosis. We started the treatment and in a while it turned out that two of the kids were ill as well. We commenced the treatment in Stepanakert, but the situation was becoming even worse. My wife, Diana, did everything possible to save us. We appealed to the Armenians of Diaspora. Thanks to their timely actions and thanks to the help of many kind people, my children and I were healed. We had treatment in Moscow and then in Belarus.
After treatment I had worked in Armenia, however, a couple of months ago my illness returned, my lungs are paralzyzed, and unfortunately my days are ending, as a full rehabilitation is impossible. All that the doctors can do is to restrain the process. Currently I am in the city of Abovyan, getting treatment in the Republican TB Hospital. My family is here as well, close to me, the children are registered at the hospital in case if the illness returns to them as well. Some do not understand why we left Artsakh, but in the current situation our examination and treatment here is at top level.
We do not have housing, and for 18 years we have been living in bad conditions, I was working before I got ill, but for already 8 years we have been getting poorer and poorer. The government is not able to provide us with housing, as the fund has been closed. I am in hospital, my family lives at the outskirts of Abovyan, children should go to school, but the situation is so tough, that we are unable to afford to buy them proper food and drugs. My wife is struggling with finding work because of our family illness.
Children want to finish school and start working in order to support us. They even want to drop school and start working now, but that is wrong, children should study in order to be successful. I am absolutely helpless, can't help them much and so I appeal for you help. My friends opened pages on internet, we are asking people to help us. And meanwhile my kids are living in misery, half-hungry, the smallest girl is just 7 months old. My family is appealing to you to help us, I do not need anything for myself, I want to help my kids to have a bright future, have a roof over their heads. God helps with the hands of others, so I pray that you help us!

Dear friends, we're raising money for a family of seven from Artsakh. The head of the family, Norayr Zakaryan, is very ill and we are trying to raise enough funds so that this family can afford basic necessities for life.
