On June 22, Justin suffered a fall from a second story window. The impact fractured six of his ribs and he tore his aorta. The result from these complicated injuries has left him in critical condition for the past 10 days. Due to the severity of the impact, his lower right arm had to be amputated. He is showing slow, yet steady progress and we are hoping this week his condition will improve from critical to stable.

Justin is a single father to a 13 year old daughter, Kaya and his handsome pup, Walter. Justin has worked hard to give his daughter the best life possible. He is an Event Venue Production Specialist at Napa Valley Film Festival, an AV Technician and a house painter.

His recovery is going to be slow and uncertain. Once he heals and begins to be independent again, he is going to need assistance with housing and many unforeseen expenses. We are hoping to alleviate some of his financial burdens so he is able to heal and focus on reclaiming his beautiful life with Kaya and Walter.

It hasn’t even been three months since Justin’s horrific accident. He is miraculously at home with Kaya and Walter and one of our amazing friends is living with them and helping with the house, meals, rides, everything! Thank you all for your abundant outpouring of love him. The State of CT isn’t considering his loss of any arm a disability, so we are continuing with our campaign to raise more monies while he convalescences at home and finds his way with this new lifestyle.

I have a beautiful message from Justin that he would like me to share with you: Thanks to everyone who gave whether monetarily, or with positive thoughts and vibrations. Words do not exist to express the gratitude I have for the out pouring of love and support I have received throughout this journey. I am truly blessed with the most amazing friends and family, who lifted me up and filled my heart with love when it needed it so badly. I will be forever grateful ♡

Hello beautiful friends. I wanted to give you a couple of updates on our courageous man, Justin. Due to complications and a fever, he has not yet been moved out of the ICU as expected. They are continuing to run blood tests and put him back on antibiotics. Once he is given the green light, he will go to Gaylord to rehabilitate. Please send out strong and healthy prayers to him.

Justin’s sister, Tracey, has been named the beneficiary to this campaign and will be handling the funds from all of your incredible donations. An account has been set up for Justin so Tracey can pay his expenses and also support Kaya and Walter while Justin recovers. Once he is capable of making the financial decisions for himself and his family, he will take over his monies.

We are all forever grateful for the generosity and support you have shown . As Justin improves, we will continue to update you on his progress. Much love, Rebekah and Team Justin!!
