Our Project
The Norfolk Food Pantry is in need of additional storage capacity to store the various donations made by our community. The Lions are building a new 8’ by 20’ secure storage shed and are raising additional funds to help offset the cost of construction. The Lions have committed $2,500 plus an earmarked donation received from a developer in town of $500. Our overall construction cost will be approximately $6,000, so we are looking to raise an additional $3,000 through the GoFundMe process. Any funds raised beyond our actual construction cost will be used to purchase non-perishable items for the Food Pantry or donated directly as cash. Construction has begun and will finish in the late summer to fall timeframe this year. Please look at our updates to see photos as we complete the building process. We are looking for help from the community - any donation will be appreciated not only by the Lions, but by all the people this project will serve. Thank you in advance.
The Norfolk Lions club is working with the Norfolk Food Pantry and the Emmanuel Baptist Church to build a new storage shed to house dry goods and other non-perishable items. The Norfolk Food Pantry which opened in 1992, serves our community and those in need. Details on operations can be found on the EBC web site.

About the Norfolk Lions Club
The Norfolk Lions Club, founded in 1958, is a non-profit organization made up of men and women dedicated to serving the community of Norfolk, Massachusetts and promoting the mission of Lions Club International. One of the main goals of the Norfolk Lions Club is to add value to the local quality of life here in Norfolk. Events like Christmas Tree Sales, the Santa Parade, Community Day, Health Day, Chili Fest, and the Haunted Train Ride, are just a few of many events sponsored by the Norfolk Lions. These annual traditions, are excellent examples of how "we serve" our community.
We are always looking for new members and we'd like to extend you an invitation to learn more about our service club!! We have more than 100 members, and continue to grow. It's a great way to meet new friends, participate in fun activities, and, at the same time, make a valuable contribution to the people of Norfolk, and people worldwide.
