Hello,
as you know Ecuador is going through very difficult times. We do not even know yet the number of people that lost their lives and the cost of damages.
A lot of independent initiatives have been included in crowdsourcing mechanisms and I hope money is well used. I plan in the future to do another project for helping people in need of psychological help, but for now I just want to make it easier to donate through the official mechanisms.
My family and friends are ok and we do not need help at this time, but there are a lot of people in need and I want not only to contribute with what is possible for me, but to help other people that want to make sure their donations are safely forwaded.
Remember it is nice to help particular families, towns or cases, but the Ecuadorian government will have to face a big challenge to save people under destroyed buildings, providing emergency care, taking care of children that have lost their parents...
If it is possible for you please donate directly to the bank account in the picture, but if you have no way of doing so or want to avoid fees, contribute to this campaign. I give you my word that all that comes from this initiative will be deposited to the official relief account of the Ecuadorian government. I just want to help disseminate and help people give their support to the victims in a way that money is safely forwarded and used.
I will in the future ask for your help for other specific campaigns but since I need to work on projects to be efficient and contribute where most needed, for now I just want to help forward your kind contribution to official channels.
Please help Ecuador in any way you can, even if it is by sending positive energies, and be careful that the money that you give is well used and goes to those that need it the most. Do not donate here if you have another option, but please make sure it is well used by questioning before and after making the donation.
ALL money collected here will be transferred to the account in the picture and proof of the deposit will be posted here.
I want to make sure that I am not in any way disqualifying other initiatives but asking you to make sure how you donate your money.
