Hubbys Cancer Treatments In Chicago

I married my Knight and shinning armour 8 years ago August 17, 2008.  I had been waiting for such a wonderful person to come into my life.  December 7, 2015 we got devastating news that he has Kidney Cancer while we were vacationing.  We had to return home from our vacation immediately.  On Decemeber 22, 2015 he had to have his left kidney removed because of large tumor.  He went through the surgery without any difficulty.  Unfortuntely the cancer returned on his Spine L2 and L1 vertabrae.  He received 10 radiation treatments where the turmor had shrunk slightly.  The hospital in our community hospital staged his cancer Stage 4  and told us to get our personals in order.  After all these years finally finding my knight and shinning armour I couldn't just give up or give in.  I was told by a friend to call
the Cancer Treatment Centers of America which I did and we were approved to go to there Mid Western Campus in Zion, Illinos.  We started a plan of care after our first visit of our second opinoion.  After hearing the treatment plan I said to the Doctor, "what ever we have to do we are in this to the end.  The Oncologist said to me at that time, "WE ALL HAVE AN END BUT IT WON'T BE FROM THIS CANCER.  After hearing that it gave me HOPE.  We started and oral treatment plan June, 2016 which was not effective after receiving two and a half months.  The plan that was intended to be my husbands treatment plan was immune therapy infusions.  Due to insurance coverage we had to start with the oral treatment to show the insurance company it was not effective so they would cover the immune therapy infusions.  In the mean time the tumor on his spine grew slightly, now causing a compression fracture.  We live in Cleveland, Ohio and the Cancer Treatment Center is in Chicago, Illinos.  Initial we had to travel to Chicago every 4 to six weeks.  I was paying for my flights and insurance coverage was paying for hubby's flights. Now that my husband started his immune therapy infusions which are to be very successful in the treatment of Renal(KIDNEY)  Cell Cancer.  The problem now is getting to Chicago by flying every two weeks for the immune infusions. I would drive which is a 6 hour drive from Cleveland but due to the tumor on his back and the pain he has being confined to a car for six hours would be to painful for him.  These infusions will be every two weeks for one year.  I am not asking for a hand out I am needing assistance.  When his return appointments were
4-6 weeks I was able to afford the cost of the flights but now that it is every two weeks it is becoming difficulty for us to afford.  I love my husband so very much and I want him around many more years since I waited so long for him.  If you can find it in your heart to offer some assistance we will be so thankful.  I am needing the funding to assist me in getting flights to Chicago so my husband can receive Immune Therapy Infusions that will save his life.    I have been praying and standing on GOD's word.  I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH...Philippans 4:13
