Please help the children! The Distance Center (DLC) Stemprep Parents is a fundraising committee to raise $$$ to help 180 underrepresented children become Doctors, Scientists, Technologist, Engineers and great Mathematicians!
This Summer Enrichment Program provides unprecedented experiences for junior and high school students. Children reside for 6-8 weeks on the college campuses of SMU and U of PA to live, learn and laugh!
The 25 year old, DLC STEMPREP PROJECT, recently lost its federal government funding. We were notified at the last minute that the funding was pulled. 180 children are now in tears, as their summer enrichment activities (educational/fun) are in jeopardy. Would you please help us by donating any amount, big or small.

The DLC’s STEMPREP Project has an outstanding track record of success in getting underrepresented students into STEM majors and careers.
· 100% of trainees attend college
· 98% graduate from college
· 92% of the trainees complete the 10-summer training regimen
· 83% of college seniors have matriculated into STEM graduate or medical schools
