Niko's Life is Rad and Beautiful

A dog is not just a dog. A dog is part of your family, sometimes the most important part. Niko has been a part of Tom's family since day one and with your help, we can continue to keep it that way for the long run.

Here's Niko's story so far: On June 25, 2016, there was a lump that was found on Niko's right side. He was brought to the Vet for a Fine Needle Aspiration of the lump. The pathology of the lump came back inconclusive. Before putting Niko through surgery, a second opinion was gotten for Niko. That second opinion stated that he most likely had cancer called hemangiosarcoma. The #1 cancer that kills dogs. So surgery was schedule for the following week. The tumor turned out to be larger then expected for the local vet to handle and Niko was almost lost on the surgery table. He recovered and after his recovery he saw an oncology specialist. He's had a X-Ray, ultrasound, FNA of his spleen, and CT scan. On August 11th, a surgical specialist performed an invasive surgery on Niko. The surgery involved removing 5 ribs, part of his diaphragm and chest wall. He spent 2.5 days in the ICU. Over the past two months, Tom has spent over $11,000 on trying to save Niko. After he heals from this past surgery, Niko will need chemotherapy that will most likely cost another $6000.

Our goal is $10,000 but honestly ANYTHING you'd like to contribute will be greatly appreciated!
