Charity Swim forJPC Community Farm

I will be swimming the full length of the English Channel with 5 friends

But in brief This newly formed charity has been set up by dedicated parents Paul & Julie Connaughton who plan to sell their own home in order to contribute funds to support the initial start up of the project.

Paul & Julie have a disabled son James, now 16,and were unable to leave James at all for the first 10 years due to the lack of respite care available.

This inspired them to create JPC Community Farm which will offer both long and short term respite care for individuals with special needs.

The property will have supported living apartments and rooms available for short respite breaks. They hope that eventually the site will offer a range of activities for its users, including ‘riding for the disabled’ lessons, an adapted outdoor play area, petting farm, specially-adapted soft play, trampoline park and therapy area.
