Reilly Johnson Rally

The Johnson Family is in desperate need of help!!! Reilly is  a very special young man. My name is Lori Bitner and I am nurse who took care of Reilly 12 years ago during his first admission to the hospital with complications due to SMA. As many of you know, Reilly was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophe as a baby. He has been hospitalized many times over the years and Neal and Nan have done a great job of holding their household together with grace and pride and rarely asking for help. However, this year has been especially difficult. Reilly spent  several weeks in Dupont this winter with pain and feeding issues due to motility issues with his digestive system caused by his SMA. Reilly was admitted to Hershey Medical Center on  April 11th  with abdominal distention and pain and as of April 18th, he has been intubated and in the ICU. Tomorrow, he will be transferred to AI Dupont in Delaware to figure out a plan to successfully extubate him. The family is in desperate need of help. Nan and Neal have been unable to work during these hospitalizations and the cost of gas, meals at the hospitals and loss of income have left them struggling financially.  Please pray for their family and the medical staff caring for Reilly and making the medical decisions.
