Thank for looking at our request to help others. We are the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post 846 located in Overland Park Kansas.
We are raising money to help with continuing our veteran programs thru our post and thru our community. We rely on solely on donations to operate the post and our programs and we need your help.
The money donated to us will help cover our operating cost and our programs such as PTSD information for veterans, community events to attract veterans and inform them of the benefits and assist to fill out forms, to give support to the families while the soldiers are deployed by offering support, food and financial assistance. We are trying to become the best VFW post in the county that offers the most support and community involvement to all veterans and military units.
We are looking for an ongoing support donation from individuals and businesses that will donate now and also each month. As it is now if we do not get donations very soon, we are going to be unable to operate and supported our needed programs.
What we do here at the VFW for our veterans and their families means so much to us. We all donate our time from doing other things we may want to do but know how important it is to be the support for so many. Even if your not able to give very much, your donation is going to be used to change and support someones else's life or lives. Remember also that all donations are tax deductable as well.
Here at the post, we are hoping that many people will see this and show their support for our soldiers, our veterans, and all that have served at one time for us and the United States of America!
