Laddie's Surgery

Laddie will need corrective surgery on both knees, two separate operations with 8-9wks recovery in between. He is currently staying at our Veterinarian's home under her care. She's a wonderful lady to provide this level of care for one of our rescued fosters.
Laddie came into Tri-County Collie Rescue's program Nov. 15 and since then has been under our doctor's care. Diagnosis: Patellar Luxation which occurs when the dog's kneecap (patella) is dislocated from its normal anatomic position in the groove of the thigh bone (femur), he is also under treatment for Cutaneous Panniculitis, an inflammation of the fatty tissue under the skin, and open wounds.
While Laddie needs a lot of medical care, afterwards he will make a terrific pet for some lucky adopter!
All funds raised will be used towards Laddie's knee surgeries, and all donations to Tri-County Collie Rescue are tax-deductible.
