Friends, I am starting this campaign for my dear friend, Jean Irbe Hartnett.
Eariler this summer, Jean was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer. It is a fast paced/aggressive cancer called Her2 Nu. She is currently going through the first phase of treatment, chemotherapy. When chemo is complete, she will undergo surgery, then radiation.
Jean and her husband, Chris, are the parents of a beautiful 3 year old girl, Millie. During Jean's cancer treatment she cannot work, so the family is saddled with medical bills and well as loosing part of their income. All funds donated will go directly to Jean and her family to help with medical bills and everyday expenses.
Jean is a talented, compassionate, funny, wise, and kind person. She is a beloved teacher, mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She is one of the best people I have ever met and she and her family really need our help now.
Jean is looking forward to complete treatment, recovery, and remission. She's looking forward to getting back into class and seeing her students again. She is looking forward to her daughter's first day of kindergarten. If you're reading this, please find in it your heart to dontate.
