Help For The Hords

The Hord's are a beautiful family of who my family has had the pleasure of knowing for many years now. We met through camp quality under the unfortunate circumstances of their little boy had cancer and life has not gotten easier for them from there. Lessa and Hordy have 6 beautiful children but the odds have not been in their favour as sadly 3 of them have chronic life threatening illnesses.
Jo was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma when he was two. A rare form of cancer that still affects his everyday life and he has been left with an ileostomy bag.
Zoé is unstable with a recent diagnosis of Epilepsy.
The biggest financial burden however is the ongoing treatment for Maddy. Maddy has Neuroborrelliosis aka Lymes disease. This is not recognised as being present in Australia so as you can imagine the treatment for this is not easily accessible or cheap. She currently requires monthly visits to a Dr willing to treat her in Brisbane, many very expensive medications daily and is undergoing intensive treatments rounds that require the family to find accommodation in Brisbane and cease work for weeks at a time.
