Vances' Medical Fund

My name is Kathrine Leland and I am starting this fund on behalf of my husband, Vance Leland. On Saturday August 13, 2016 Vance was critically wounded when our roommates gun accidentally discharged. The bullet traveled through several walls before tearing through Vances' trachea and esophagus and stopping right before his spinal cord. After several hours of surgery, he was placed under medical sedation and is currently in the ICU. Doctors aren't sure how long medical sedation will last as he will be in an extreme amount of pain without it.

With Vance in the hospital it makes myself sole provider, but with my job alone I can not support my family and also medical bills as Vance currently does not have health insurance. This money would tremendously help relieve some of the stress off my family at this hard time. Vance is a hard working Husband and Father who is going to need rest and therapy to fully heal from his injuries. This money will ease his mind and allow for a full recovery. 

These funds are needed as soon as possible as he is not covered by insurance and will be out of work for a long period of time. I know Vance and our family will be extremely grateful for any help at all. Even if you can not donate your thoughts and prayers would mean a lot at this difficult time.
